जिस क्षण आप अपने जीवन को देखते हैं, आप क्या देखते हैं? पुरानी यादें, पुरानी गलतियां, पुरानी चोटें... और इन सबके बीच एक कड़वाहट जो आपको हर रोज़ घसीटती है। आप सोचते हैं कि ये सब सच है। कि ये आपका अतीत है। लेकिन योग वशिष्ठ कुछ और ही कहता है।

आपकी किसी भी घटना की स्मृति वास्तव में कल्पना है। यह सच नहीं है।

यह बात पहली बार सुनने में अजीब लगती है, लेकिन इसे समझिए। जब आप किसी घटना को याद करते हैं—चाहे वह कोई दर्द हो, किसी की बुरी बात हो, या कोई असफलता—तो आप उसे फिर से अपने मन में रच रहे हैं। आप अपनी कल्पना से उसे वापस बना रहे हैं।

उस समय जो हुआ था, वह अब नहीं है। वह एक तस्वीर थी जो अब धुंधली पड़ गई है। लेकिन हर बार जब आप उसे याद करते हैं, आप उसे नए रंगों से, नए दर्द से, नई भावनाओं से रंग देते हैं।

यही तो असली समस्या है।

एक आदमी को गोली लग जाए। वह जीवित रहता है। एक औरत को कैंसर हो। वह लड़ाई लड़ती है। कोई अपना सब कुछ खो दे। वह फिर से शुरुआत करता है।

मनुष्य भौतिक पीड़ा को सह सकता है। शारीरिक यातना को झेल सकता है। बीमारी से, घावों से, नुकसान से गुजर सकता है।

लेकिन एक पीड़ा है जिसे कोई सह नहीं पाता। एक ऐसी चोट जो किसी भी हथियार से नहीं, अपने आप से आती है।

अहंकार की मृत्यु।

जब किसी को लगता है कि उसकी पहचान मिट रही है, कि वह जो सोचता है कि वह है—वह नष्ट हो रहा है—तब क्या होता है? तब आदमी टूट जाता है। तब वह सब कुछ भूल जाता है।

योग वशिष्ठ यह बात कहता है। और यह बात बिलकुल सटीक है।

आप सुबह जागते हो। बाहर देखते हो। क्या दिखता है? एक बाहरी दुनिया। घर, सड़क, लोग, आकाश।

पर सवाल है: क्या यह दुनिया आपके बाहर है, या आपके अंदर?

आप सोचते हो कि यह सब बाहर है। पर योग वशिष्ठ कहता है कुछ और। वह कहता है: यह पूरी दुनिया तुम्हारे अहंकार की ही एक निर्मिति है।

और यह बात सुनकर आपका मन करता है कि कहें, "यह तो पागलपन है!" लेकिन थोड़ा और गहरे सुनिए। यह बात आपके जीवन को पूरी तरह बदल सकती है।

एक गुस्सा, एक बीमारी, एक डर, एक इच्छा... और आप सोचते हैं कि ये सब आपके हैं। कि ये आपका व्यक्तिगत मामला है। लेकिन योग वशिष्ठ का सवाल है: क्या यह सब सचमुच आपका है?

जब आप गहरे में देखते हैं, तो क्या मिलता है? दिव्य।

आपका मन, आपकी बुद्धि, आपकी अहंकार की पूरी दुनिया—यह सब दिव्य आत्मा के विविध रूप हैं। न कि कोई अलग, व्यक्तिगत, स्वतंत्र वस्तु। बल्कि एक ही परमात्मा का अलग-अलग प्रकटन।

यह बात पहली बार सुनने में लगता है कि कोई धार्मिक या आध्यात्मिक कवित्व है। लेकिन इसे समझना आपके जीवन को पूरी तरह बदल सकता है।

When you look at your mind, what do you actually see?

Anger. Desire. Fear. Ambition. A constant commentary running in the background.

And somewhere inside all that noise, a quiet assumption:
“This is me.”

But is it?

Before we try to improve the mind, fix it, discipline it, or spiritualize it, maybe a more unsettling question is needed:

Is this mind truly personal? Or is it an expression of something far larger moving through you?

God. Allah. Yahweh. Ishvara.
Each name carries devotion. Each name carries culture.

But there is a quiet problem hidden inside language.

Every word defines.
And whatever is defined becomes limited.

So how do you name something that has no boundary?

Some traditions did not try to describe the infinite. They tried to sound it.

That sound is OM.

Not as a religious slogan.
Not as decoration.

The mind is also your only instrument of freedom.

यह कोई एलान करके हमला नहीं करता। यह बस चुपके से एक विचार के रूप में आता है और आपकी पूरी दुनिया का रंग बदल देता है।

योग वाशिष्ठ में कहा गया है:

"मन एव मनुष्यणाम् कारणं बन्धमोक्षयोः" > अर्थात: मन ही मनुष्य के बंधन और मोक्ष (मुक्ति) का कारण है। अगर यह अनियंत्रित है तो सबसे बड़ा दुश्मन, और अगर वश में है तो सबसे बड़ा मित्र।

It was not random vulgarity.
